News and Notes:

Mark Shipp and Kevin Kirkconnell will be putting together a memo for the organization as a whole that will inform the parents and kids about signs of heat stroke.  With no end in sight for the heat, it will be something our parents can go over with their kids to increase awareness about the symptoms of being overheated.  This should equip the parents with knowledge on how to prevent and treat these symptoms.

All the kids should have gotten their bags.  The skate compartment pocket is missing because it is getting embroidered. 

Some kids did receive gloves today.  More equipment will be passed out tomorrow and Thursday.

Please welcome Mason Paddie to the team as an additional goalie.  He hails from Hallsville, Texas.  Please introduce yourself to his mother Dawn when you get a chance.

We are still working on jerseys (Plan A and Plan B) and I will try to pass them out on Thursday, but it might be Saturday game time before I have all of them.

Concussion testing will be held in September, please keep a lookout for more information

Team pictures will be scheduled in Mid September when all the jerseys are complete

Our team scheduling meeting is weekend of September 17-18

We will have one season game scheduled before an Allen Americans CHL game.

Jerseys to Have Names on Back

According to Eric Wade, the Lite teams will have names on jerseys, contrary to prior reports.  Also, you may have noticed last night the AA team has their practice jerseys.  We do not yet have those as they are still being produced.  I will keep you updated on equipment arrival as I get additional information.
